The second quarter of 2024 saw varied performance among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Hungary, with data sourced from Sensor Tower highlighting interesting trends.

Bolt: Request a Ride demonstrated steady growth in downloads, starting at 3.6K in early April and peaking at approximately 4.9K by the end of June. Weekly active users hovered around the 39K to 41K mark throughout the quarter, showcasing consistent engagement.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a significant surge in downloads towards the end of the quarter, jumping from 1.6K in early April to 13.9K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, escalating from 59.8K to over 106K weekly active users by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver also showed a positive trend in downloads, starting at 205 and reaching 723 by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 954 to 1.9K over the same period.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained a relatively stable download rate, fluctuating between 187 and 268 downloads per week. Active users remained steady, averaging around 1.3K to 1.4K throughout the quarter.
